LMO is cheaper than LFP and has double the density. It doesn't perform well at high temp. So I guess the LFP works on Ah high demand and the LMO on cruising...May be ? Or just assisting the LFP.
it is coming, slower than I thought, but Manganese is popping up.
I'm not 100% sure, but the cathode manufacturer will still use Mn salt (sulphate) to produce the cathode active material, in this case a spinel LiMnO3 cathode.
