Just a reminder -
Kachi Brines processed by Lilac via DLE to extract Lithium Chloride which gas been further processed by Lilac to produce 99.9 % Lithium Carbonate as outlined in the 9th January 2020 ASX announcement.
20,000 Litre of KACHI Brine was sent to Lilac for pilot testing in the extraction of Lithium Chloride with low impurities at larger scale AND the conversion into the 99.9 % Lithium Carbonate in larger quantities in March 2020.
A FURTHER 20,000 litres were sent in April 2020 to California.
All if these were aimed to process Lithium Carbonate in bulk volume to initiate sampling by battery makers.
HOWEVER, June 2020 there is confirmation that consistent Lithium Chloride with low impurities is processed by Lilac BUT a 3rd party independent lab is to be utilized on the advise of battery makers
Hazen is officially appointed in August to produce battery grade Lithium Carbonate in bulk.
MY questions ar this stage are:
1. Why is the switch from Lilac to Hazen? Was Lilac unable to produce large volumes of Lithium Carbonare from the Lithium Chloride.
2. What is the conversion of Brine to Lithium Chloride. FURTHER what was the Chloride to Carbonare ratio?

Whatever was the case, Lilac has been now tasked to consistently produce Lithium Chloride. It has achieved this. However Hazen given the task to process in Bulk.
so we now have Hazen able to process a purer a product however still no bulk. THIS IS THE NEXT STEP.
