Let's not over analyze this. Steve went to numerous potential offtakers who were interested, but said that just having Lilac results, who have an obvious vested interest in desclaring the very best results, so, they wanted an independent report on the quality of their product.
Steve went to Hazen, who are highly respected, and they came out with 99.97%, which more than adequately confirms Lilac's results.
Steve can now go back to all of those interested ones, even with Lilac samples, which have now been independently proven, and start talking MOUs and deals, based on the Lilac process!!!!
Hazen is now irrelevant and Novonix is just the cherry. They really don't NEED Novonix, that's just the extreme proof.
Steve can do serious discussions with offtakers, partners and funders based simply on the Lilac process, with the independent Hazen report to support any doubters.
It's now Steve, with the, independently confirmed Lilac process, doing deals.
That's why I reckon that we'll see something between Melv97's 2 and 3.
No one should be waiting for the Novonix outcome for the next step, that's the Rolls Royce level and is weeks/months away!!!
