I think there are a number of reasons why posters, and shareholders "get dirty"....
Have lost money big time, are impatient for results, , maybe worked for a company and are disgruntled ex employees, former suppliers who don't like a change in strategy (particularly if it negatively affects their business), competitors who use the HC anonymity for selfish reasons, and particularly relevant to HC, IMO there are personality types that like to bag what other people think and particularly, without any reason for doing so, like to have a crack just because they can.....
It's certainly a mixed bag, especially on the IOT thread.
