Probably won't be an announcement for a few months as they would need to get the certificate. Find someone to fly the cities for them. Set up a US company. Then probably have to offer some free mapping to lure customers in. I stand to be corrected but I think it took them 2 years to lift the paywall in Australia and there was a huge backlash.
There's also the possibility that Australia shareholders will see $0 revenue and that they may set up a separate US company to take on the US market. There is already a US twitter account.
Anyone got any thoughts on the US company idea ? Concerns ?

Pre-flight TCB Meeting
Applicant performs ground inspections, ground tests, and flight tests
FAA reviews manufacturer's flight test results and issues TIA
FAA performs conformity inspections, witnesses tests, performs official certification flight tests and flight standards evaluations
Functional and reliability testing
FAA approves flight manual supplement or supplemental flight manual and holds final TCB meeting
AEG completes continuing airworthiness determination
FAA issues STC
