Palks, rolling the quarterly into the Half Yearly as you've suggested cannot happen. It is an ASX Listing rule that resource companies that are producing must report quarterly no later than 1 month following the completion of the quarter.

The fact that the financial calendar in the Investor centre on the GBG website doesn't show up the expected date for the Quarterly report is probably due to their slackness or perhaps they've just removed it as the report is imminent...might even come out tomorrow or Monday.

I'm hoping that this quarterly report will answer most of our questions. And i think we'll find that things aren't as dire down at GBG as many of you are making out.
