    With a payWave tap of her VISA card, or selecting VISA at the online checkout, the VISA/9SP SMB platform recognises Mary.

    The checkout operator running the VISA/9SP terminal platform, or the online store checkout integrated to the VISA/9SP platform immediately recognises:

    - her purchase history
    - her brand preference
    - her customer total spend
    - can make recommendations on upcoming offers or products, and
    - request if she would like to be put on the 'exclusive VISA invite and waitlist'
    - can offer her payment structures : pay now, pay in instalments, 12month deferral, etc
    - tags to other loyalty programs or awards programs, can also use these reward program credits to offset the bill
    - auto sends to her social account recommenced complimentary products, and discount codes for her friends
    - updates distributor of one less stock item (good for JIT supply models)
    - etc etc

    More importantly, VISA starts to collect new data and insights into consumer purchasing and spend behaviour above and beyond the transaction.
    VISA moves more and more into Digital financing - all this data is key.
