Food for thought: The VIX has been in overbought territory for 6 sessions in a row. Believe it or not, there was only one time during the GFC that the VIX was in overbought territory for over 2 sessions in a row, and this was in early October when it remained above the 80 mark for 6 consecutive sessions. For mine, the index (which trends opposite to the markets) is well and truly overbought right now.
