'The latest crop of big mining projects are at different stages of potentially planning on-land facilities. Marengo’s Yandera, Newcrest and Harmony’s Wafi-Golpu, Indochine’s Mount Kare and Xstrata’s Frieda River have all signalled intentions to take the higher ground, so to speak.'

I like Mt Kare being referred to in the above as a big mining project. It has similarities to Wafi-Golpu that started as a 1moz resource in 2007 and now in 2013 has at last count 12moz. Hopefully Mt Kare can reach those dizzy heights. The management team again are one step in front of the pack with their tailing policy....
