Scott, everything ChatGPT said there about SSBs is true but its what wasn't said that is the problem and has been for a few years now. At present no one has successfully produced economically viable SSBs in commercial quantities. Quantumscape, Toyota and many others have been promising to for a while but so far it hasn't happened. Meanwhile the different conventional Lithium chemistries keep improving so by the time we do see SSBs produced in commercial quantities the performance gap may not be as large.
