Well if that happened, it would pretty much torpedo any ideas TPG had on becoming a significant player, but somehow i cant see the accc giving this a tick as would severly reduce market competition, and we all know competition is key in Australia.
I dont doubt if it was allowed to happen then it would become a powerful entity in Asia, but after decades of butting heads as competitors, i just cant see it happening.
More likely TPG and Vodafone join forces.
