Ummmm, isn't the NBN meant to look after that now? TLS will not be replacing copper in areas that are due for NBN as the copper as I understand it doesn't belong to them now.
What people have to understand is that the copper maintenance costs will soon not be telstras.. neither will the workforce that maintains them (or if they are they will be contracting to the nbn, i.e. cost +)
