I have 2 mobiles- one from Vodafone and other Telstra. my Telstra mobile doesn't work while inside my house but I never had any problem with Vodafone. Btw I live within 10 km from the city centre. I am not sure Telstra mobile really got a better coverage, at least not for me ( may be I am one of those "unlucky" one).
