An informative and accurate summary of what we are dealing with here, and it needed to come from a baggy assed oilman who could put all of the technical issues into perspective.

Yes, there are all sorts of risks and technical issues involved should AOI get the green light to proceed. And the indications are that they will.

Problems, unknowns, uncertainties and blind fear aside, for every problem associated with drilling these days, there is a solution of one sort or another. Unless the problem is a dry hole. In which case we fall back to the old premise, If at first you don't succeed, try try again! And they will. At least 3 more times to be exact.

Production issues notwithstanding, I think the interest of MOST here will be confined to whether or not the AOI drill gets coated with black stuff. And on any subsequent share price increase, should such an event occur, THEY will be gone like a flash, not waiting to assess the technical reports relating to production. And who could blame them! Mission accomplished!

By then, a new class of investor will be joining the lists, and they will be patient holders looking for earnings growth. It will be exciting times for share holders if we get to that stage, and immensely positive for Somalia as it attempts to move toward economic development.

Now Pongo, are you paying attention mate?
With tycodab’s excellent summary, and with the posts last night, you really aren't needed here to warn people anymore. Your mission is accomplished. We have been warned and we are sick and tired of being warned. And it does wear a little thin after 396 times. Please find yourself another 'dodgy' stock (and there are plenty to choose from) and continue your humanitarian work on another stock thread.

Unless of course you are a 'closet believer' in which case you might come clean and keep us to date with POSITIVE developments for a change.
