Great post tycodab (there's been a few lately).
Methinks you're much better at technical commentary than poetry :)

Very refreshing to read views looking forward, due to the mindset of uncertainty that has been attempted to be imposed here on hotcopper for a very long time (almost forever, seems like!) by the screaming chicken little downrampers (mainly one)! Not to mention the media onslaught via Garoweonline etc. Smoke and mirrors galore!

Fact is, as has been repeatedly pointed out, and tycodab put so well: Oil discovery - "It is not a question of if, it is a question of when and how much?"

Look forward to any further ramblings u may have. It would be great to see a few more oil/gas posters provide their thoughts, perhaps they may appear as we get confirmation of spudding.
