sorry peaceakki - but it seems that a lot of so called homeless people have a common address - which gives them the benefits of rent assistance.
ok - for what ever reason, a lot of people are homeless - and the issues are complex. just giving everybody a home is a COP OUT - after all, if everybody is given a home, and all of the associated welfare - then why is there a reason to try and work harder.
the fear of being homeless, should be a driver to escape that possibility.... mmm. from what watso can see, but welfare housing is pretty dammed good - so why even bother trying to own a home/property
