I think the other side are aware Biden will bring them closer to war.
Biden is too close to their own goals based on power. That means they will bunt heads faster especially since they are aware Biden is more limited and therefore is more easily influenced by the reckless and stupid.
The trouble is Biden is more of a puppet/patsy candidate. An opposing force can instigate war and Biden devoid of any senses can be blamed.
Its harder to create war with Trump because he likes to think and carry the persona he is his own man and under his own direction. Furthermore opposing forces are more likely to see Trump coming and better then devil you know.
Biden and the people in the shadows behind him would be harder to read so confrontation is more easily enhanced. Biden is more scatter gun give or take but with USA in trouble the give options are practically run out meaning more take meaning conflict because of the limitations of Biden
Trump's ego will demand he can come up with a way without going to war. I think Trump will try and orchestrate a deal to avert conflict where possible. This seems on trend.
