rony18 - you are wrong in your understanding that PLT has bought shares that it will now look to offload.
PLT has received acceptances for some shares, but as the takeover is now set to fail, those shares just get handed back to their original owner. PLT does not have to pay for them, and does not get to own them.
therefore that is one point at least where you do not need to worry too much.
