Everyone is entitled to their own views. However, I do think its unfair to blame Management for the share price reaction to the announcement. They have no control the share price in the short term. All they can do is move the business forward. The logical first step is to get a plant operationsal to (1) bring some money in, and (2) demonstrate to the market the real benefits of the technology on a commmercial scale. If they do that the share price will steadily increase over time.
There has been a year's delay because of the Astron lawsuit...which was incredibly annoying. However they have also signed supply and offtake agreements with CMC and Orica in the interim, as well as securing funding for building the plant.
I would also like to understand more about the license fee, but I assumed its just a way to limit shareholder dilution, and is reasonable to give away if it means we have a plant.
Finally - if I remember the demo plant, I think that was delivered broadly on time when the money was available. So I feel end of year or Q1 next year is reasonable estimate for when we will have a fully functioning plant.
