I am not worried about this current short term impact, and agree that it will be good if the shorters (current) and holders (soon) will both have success.
Although I would recommend that you don't take too long to close your position if it is still open, as this thing could really fly on primaries success, and even on secondaries. If the primaries are not commercial you make more on the short, but is it worth the risk?
