in 1999, the company which operated the mt mclure mine (which included several of the deposits, that vre are now mining) - which was adjacent to the bronzwing mine, was placed into voluntary administration - and a subsequent meeting of creditors voted to wind up the company

it looks like this is the second time that these assets will be in the hands of an administrator.

back in 1999, the problems had nothing to do with these operations, but involved problems with respect to the selwyn mine
