Better 2nd quarter after a rough 1st qtr.
I'd suggest the reason the company delayed the 1/2 yr earnings announcement was so they could have a full look at the July and August sales which are in the bag now. So when they say they are looking at a better second half they have the confidence to do so and 3rd qtr and full year results should be better again.
Overall a good announcement with no negative surprises. It's been an average last 18 months but looks like the worst is behind us.
