Hi folks - I have taken the opportunity to buy a few more MGX at 41.5 over the last couple of days - 300k more shares in total . My rationale is as we approach June - we are only 2 months away from the next quarterly and the FY results which should come with a 2c FF divi announcement. I also think the IO weakness is not looked at accurately as one should look at IO in AUD and one ofcourse should be valuing MGX on the AUD IO price of the premium high grade product. I think this quarter will be again be solid from a cashflow perspective and KI should be close to the start of dewatering, so I imagine as the project derisks more of the 500m NPV value will be added to the SP. I don’t know why but I just feel an announcement about the use of capital may happen sooner than later ( no info just gut feeling ) . At a Valuation on the high 60s on a 55 USD 62 price , I think the risk reward remains compelling specifically when the dividend grosses up to 6.8% and is only 2.5 months away
