Yes it was a little bit off topic but relevant to a reference made to WW1 & the Turks.
As with many threads, often references are made to other topics and used to validate a poster's stance in the hope that they are not challenged by some fool, I just happened to be that fool this time, sorry.
I do tend to watch a lot of old history films in search of little tit bits of info and I found this a very good one re: WW1 & T E Lawrence.
I live a sad life I know, but what can one do. LOL.
