a brief history of gun confiscation, page-31

As usual you take an incident, add whatever to it necessary to make it into an episode of democide and post it here.

Firstly this is ethnic cleansing, getting Armenians out of Turkey, not Armenia itself. Secondly, they were treated like the Jews in that they had few rights at all, and the only thing I could find about gun control was that the law was that they could not use a weapon against the military.....Well that's law here too isn't it?

A few Armenians with rifles would not have stopped a large army from persecuting them.

1.5m Armenians died, quote "Most of these deaths were low-tech but high efficiency. The army rounded up hundreds or thousands of civilians, drove them into wilderness areas, and waited until they starved to death."

If an army wants to kill people it will, and won't be stopped except by another army.

So what on earth does all this have to do with gun control.

What weapons would the Jews have needed to stop the Nazis, it took the entire allied forces 4 years and 2 million lives to stop them.

These arguments are about democracy and freedom, not gun control.
