I bought 8 months ago and expect the turn around to take a long time but ultimately prove rewarding for me from $1.5 before dividends.
Agree, my explanation is to stem the bleeding from short term losses.
Seems like the wrong decision long term.
As discussed I really think you shouldn't worry about "why" the shareprice acts in a certain way.
In the short term it will fluctuate long term follow earnings.
When people are feeling worried about a stock (even with good reasons) it can be a good opportunity to buy.
