Good grief MrG, apologists' attempts to portray the acts of the God of the OT as somehow wise, just and merciful are impossible to understand and accept except as attempts by the spiritually and morally blind. Why do so called Christians even bother with the OT ??
The two are totally irreconcilable.
Either you believe in the Old - In which case you are a Jew (and possibly a Muslim as all the nastiness that they quote are from the old testament.), or you believe in the New and you call yourself a Christian. Millions of Jews have been murdered by Christians because they insist on telling the Jews on how to interpret their own book. How anybody can identify Jesus as being the son of the abomination of the god of the Jews has me beat.
On the other hand, I must congratulate wotsup in exposing me as my father's son. Not only did he do it with my birth date, he has now doubled down about with his talk of dragons. Not only does the 3rd of June signify 666, I am also a Golden Dragon. The evil one exposed to the world!
