The book of revelation is an abomination. As soon as people start quoting that you know it is a clear sign that they are nutters. Notice that they put more faith in that than what they claim Jesus said. This in spite of the fact that the God they believe in specifically tells them not to consult seers.
But if you want to try and interpret it, than wotsup's interpretation is as good as it gets.
1) It is the country that isn't but will be.
2) It will be the richest country in the world.
3) All the ships's captains will sleep and drink with the whore.
4) And the clearest sign - And none may trade unless they have the mark of the beast- international trade is based on the USA Dollar. And the USA invaded Iraq because they were going to sell oil in Euros.
