The Devil is not even a part of the Old Testament. Satan being portrayed as an agent of God. The Serpent being a Beast in the Garden, punished by being turned into a snake, and references to the 'fall' referring to an Earthly Ruler, not a Supernatural Being. The idea of a 'Devil' - the rebellion of Satan, etc, being developed in new testament times.
