Have you even followed Vertigo's link ? . It is the patent filed by the UWA scientists in 2011 ( and updated recently I believe ) and does a very nice job of explaining the way the optimems technology works. Cant get any more 21st century than that . I'm finding it hard to even consider you're denigration of Vertigo's input.
