I have a great respect of what he has done for CUS. The problem is now CUS faces substantial external issues.
1. Wilkey and Mr X - introducing $250 max out of ATM's in gaming venues. Around one third of CUS's fleet are in gaming venues produce at least 50% of income. 2. All ATM's
machines to be removed from VIC gaming venues in 2012 and discussion for further states to introduce similar legislation. 3. Cash out and new technologies ( Pay Pass ) competing against cash. 4. Mature market with machine saturation resulting in increased rebates to merchants.
All adds up to a tough landscape to make a buck. Having said that if any can , CUS will. So for me it's not about CUS as a company...it's the external factors they are facing.
