    re: a buy or not? rises in us It's the value of the rand that is making life so very tough for DRD (and other SA gold stocks). Dr Roffey (on GoldEagle) has been on about a favourable currency turnaround but, to date, it just has not happened.

    Really, if you are into DRD, you are (to a large extent) speculating on the Randgold price).

    Hope it goes your way ... (DRD was in the 'too risky' basket for me and still is.
