I agree the directors aren't out there at the 'coalface'... but they ARE the ones writing the ASX announcements.

Between due dilligence & negotiations for buyout of the junior, an AGM in Sydney (will the France - based directors be flying in?), preparation for a possible AIM listing (surely will now be no earlier than next year?) and ongoing drilling, I would say they have their hands full... and may well explain why announcements haven't been as frequent with the first well.

Having said that, it could just as likely be they haven't reported progress on the second well because there's nothing to report as yet.
