About Us

Energex was formed with the intent to deliver an alternative means to provide for the energy needs of residential, small to large commercial and industrial applications as well as provide utility grade energy systems capable of delivery large amounts of electrical energy. To achieve this stated goal Energex will offer both patented fuel cell technology as well as battery storage technologies.
With respect to fuel cells Energex has established relationships with companies whose technology range from 1.8KW to 400KW and therefore have the capability of providing for an entire spectrum of applications. Companies such as Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (which Energex has an exclusive for Canada and non-exclusive for the United States) including Bloom Energy and Clear Edge Power that Energex (with the intent to represent their technologies in certain market segments and in specific areas of Canada) have been identified as those companies.
It was during its review of energy generating fuel cell systems that Energex realized that in order to provide energy independence in certain applications a reliable and affordable storage system had to also form part of its mandate. To that end Energex also determined that with the addition of the Vanadium Redox Battery Storage System the Company would then be in a position to achieve just that.
Energex has identified Renewable Energy Dynamics Technology Ltd (“REDT”) which has developed a Vanadium Redox Flow Battery, based on a mature technology that has been shown to have outstanding reliability and the lowest whole life cost of any competitive system. Energex will represent this company’s battery systems exclusively in Canada.
The Company’s objective is to continuing to develop and operate its power generation assets that serve as a cost-effective clean energy alternative to central-generated power in markets throughout North America. Our long-term objective is for our SOFC product designs to generate electricity for our customers and to maintain grid parity with traditional energy sources. We also intend to leverage our customer relationships and on-site customer presence to obtain long-term relationships to establish ourselves as innovative suppliers of innovative alternative energy services.
