    Nice, I would support a takeover from FMG.

    But currently FMG failed to get funding from the Chinese banks.

    Andrew Forrest is well known as a man, who wouldn't easier issue more equity to dilute his holdings in FMG.

    So he rather take debt, than issue more equity.

    So a scrip for scrip takeover is not Forrest's preferred choice. A fully cash takeover is not forseeable as its struggling to get debt from Chinese banks.

    Australian and Western banks are also unlikely to issue more debt easily as opposed to Chinese banks.

    I say its still the Chinese (CRM), if not a foreign company other than the Chinese or maybe a smaller Australian miner (other than AGO) like BRM.
