Silver is a wonderful form of saving for a rainy day. Money in the banks tend to get eaten away as its just so easy to draw down. Shares and the market are good and I do well out of trading. But silver is that solid part of the portfolio that you don't have to worry about or trade.
I began accumulating five kilo bars in 2002 for my super fund and in later years silver coins as a separate collection as its just there if you get crook or want to help someone in the family etc. And the chart just clearly shows how good it is as a saving that goes up nicely over the years.
