This seems to be a defamation action and is a protection available to any person (but not corporation) under law. It is about two individuals and not Cudeco.

Defamation actions are no threat to appropriate lawful posting like the vast bulk of HC activity. Most of us here are in no danger. HC indeed works diligently to protect us posters with highlighted warnings whenever we post, clear TOUs and active moderators.

But protection against defamation is a fundamental human right.
