To be fair to LeanneDawn she is right of course you cannot eat or drink it. And she is exactly right it is a relic. A relic that has stood the test of time. The rest of the stuff about charting and bubbles well to be honest I would rather believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden before believing any of that. Smoke and mirrors stuff.

You cannot eat and drink dollars notes as well and need a leap of faith that it will continue to buy you the same amount of goods again and again week after week.

What gold can do is buy you a whole lot more food and drink and oil and stuff etc etc more and more than those useless dollars can.

So you see you can eat and drink gold. In fact you can eat a whole more with it than you could a year ago. How much can you buy with your dollar now.
