The Target for Cement companies is to reduce CO2 emissions by 20-25% by 2030. So a product which "enables a manufacturer to lower the cement content and reduce costs without sacrificing strength and performance" should come into the thinking. Particularly when combined with other admixtures to achieve desired properties without adversely impacting on those other admixtures.

The cost is always raised as a problem. But how many cubic yards of concrete with Edencrete can be poured for the cost over 16 years to all of these companies and Universities working on better understanding of cement and concrete to make them durable, stronger whilst reducing the need for resources and lower CO2 emissions. You know - like Edencrete?

Take the rail car case study. Reducing the Slab from 8.5" to 6" is a 30% reduction of concrete right there. Most have a serious impact on CO2 emissions.
