Sounds to me like the ASX has seen the announcement and feel that it requires further information before it can be released to the market.
The suspension is normally at the request of the ASX, even though it says by the company. It normally means that the announcement will have a big impact on the share price and the ASX wants to make sure that the contents of the announcement provide all the necessary information to investors.
