The only way that bank fees, charges and interest rates can be controlled is by competion The Government has allowed? encouraged? this aspect to be removed.
First by disposing of the peoples/government banks and then by allowing the big fish to swallow the smaller fish so to ban this and ban that, will only cause the banks to move the charges to other areas.
We have sold everything else to overseas interests so maybe we should open the banking to any overseas banks to allow them to move in without restrictios
