A lot of money was lost as to how BBP handled the dividend announcement as right up to the last minute they were saying everything was business as usual and dividend forthcoming then at the last minute cancelled. Surely at these previous announcements they already knew that the dividend would not be paid and that they did not have the means to even pay it.

This is actually worse than the CNP case as BBP had set the Shareholders expectations to high and no warning at all
