In 2011, ECT were asked by the Department of Resources, Tourism and Energy to submit a paper on it's vision for a cleaner future for power stations.

    http://www.ret.gov.au/energy/Documents/sustainbility-and-climate-change/env-clean-technologies-ltd.pdf

The document states that Coldry pellets are stable, and can easily be transported without the risk of spontaneous combustion. This is a document that was submitted to the government so it goes without saying that everything must be above board.

So I ask you, would you rather believe such a paper submitted to the government or a bunch of scare mongering zealots who have nothing better to do than discredit ECT for obvious reasons and wthout basis. If the said zealots cared to contact the company directly for verification of their wild and clearly false claims, they would discover that:

    - Coldry is in the same 'risk' category as black coals currently exported out of NSW and Qld.

    - Current Monash Uni research sponsored by BCIA and in part by ECT is looking into exactly why at a micro level, Coldry achieves such a reduction in its propensity to self heat.

    - The fire mentioned was in a pile of coal that was semi-processed. It was coal they used during installation and commissioning of the JC Steele extruder that wasn't processed to spec or dried.

Also interesting to note that Exergen were not asked to submit a similar paper to the government...interesting to say the least.
