Mate I do this for a living... its not wrong. Believe or think what you want. Given some might work differently, but generally if you are an explorer looking for say copper, of course you have a idea of what you may like to happen but then there are 1 million variables in between which can change your decision or which will change the path you are on. This is why you need the JORCs and Scoping studies behind you before you can actually work out which way you will head and what's the best decision for the company, factoring in resources you have, experience the company has, difficulty or the project etc. Then you work out if you want to develop the site further, sell the site, become a producer, do a JV, have a farm in agreement, do a tolling agreement, etc etc etc.
