1) Buying an insurance company at the top of the cycle (my opinion)
2) Getting rid of the experienced MD and his executives (IAG says thanks)
3) Not paying their investment team enough so the whole team walks and sets up their own shop....LOL
4)Buying a huge chunk of RAMS trying to make a stag profit and losing most of it in less than 6 weeks.
5)Under re insuring during a known LA Nina phenomenon and getting wacked with hailstorms in sydney, floods, cyclones etc
God knows what is happening behind the scenes
However I must thank Suncorp for buying my Promina shares at a premium to the market last year :-)
