" Are you assuming my race or just being racist yourself? "

Not at all. However, I'll wager I'm right though. smile.png

Are you male, white and of middle age ? You're definitely angry.

As opposed to all the older, white males that I know who are great people and have no problem with this policy.

As to respect, you seem to be living in the 50's where women had tea on the table at 6 or else, where the wife had the husbands slippers and pipe ready because he had a hard day and the children were seen and not heard etc.

Respect ? This is all about respect actually. It is about respect for everybody, regardless of their position in life, gender or anything else.

Why should you automatically be called a gentleman when people don't know whether you actually are a gentleman ?

Obviously you think you're a bit more special than anyone else by demanding that they call you a gentleman.

How about if people just used hi, hey, hello, welcome , good morning, good afternoon, g'day etc ? In the case of flight attendants, once they look at your boarding pass they quite often address you by your first name. I think that's much nicer. That's much more respectful for everybody.

If Ivan Milat walked up to me I certainly wouldn't be calling him sir or a gentleman.

Get with the times old fella. Maybe there's an underlying reason why people don't address you as sir ? wink.png
