You are not addressing me I do understand but I will answer for Jack to make a point.
The last time I was addressed on an aeroplane as Mr. XXXX was when I flew First to London this time last year. The same goes in Business. The same goes in any hotel of a certain calibre.
Otherwise as regards airlines, in my experience in all classes of travel men will be addressed as ' Sir' and women as ' Madam '.
' Mr' XXXX or ' Sir ' or ' Madam ' are all established forms of address in formal settings.
Air Canada has just shown it has lost touch with established customs and convention.
Like Justin Trudeau, Air Canada has just made itself a Virtue - Signalling Odd - Bod ( and most likely full likewise of the same Hypocrisy ).
