As a guide in the U.S where we've now seen retail sales figures for the month of December.
Taking into account the extra trading weekend - "Retail sales in December rose 5.4 percent from a year ago."
This is a pretty substantial increase and may suggest a better than expected figure for both the retail sector here and MYR when figures are released next month for the month of December. MYR will I imagine provide a sales update sometime in the next month or so.
