Val has some good points which hopefully KFE can address. High P and Al are a definite concern and are a well published issue with this oolitic / sedimentary ore from Agbaja region - google Agbaja iron ore - lots of petrology, bene / met work done on this stuff over past 30 years. This stuff seems to be well documented. Hopefully KFE can crack the beneficiation solution.
Electricity? What's wrong with using diesel gensets? I doubt this ore will require any serious grinding, more crush and remove matrix (containing Al, Si,P). If soft and friable it is easier to mine and lower cost.
This is a sedimentary ore and beds are thin 6-13 m thickness. Some environmental concerns here - you have to mine / strip a large area to feed production target 20mtpa.
Hopefully they can move to pfs soon and answer some of these questions. my thoughts, dyor.
