Agree with much of what you point out FP except from one fundamental aspect (pun intended) and that is that commonsense (i.e. taking note of volume and SP variations - which are indicative of support and resistance levels; buy/sell queue shennanigans; broker data & newsflow timelines) can be just as predictive as the most complex and prescriptive chart.
For mine, none of the chartists on this thread have had more success in predicting SP movement than a commonsense approach would give. Most chart summaries end up having two bob each way.
